Steeped in History. Rich in Design.

In 1938 master architects, Charles Quayle, Edward Quayle and Alberto Treganza designed a state-of-the-art headquarters for the San Diego Police Department. The structure has often been regarded as an architectural masterpiece. Inspired architectural and functional design earned Old Police Headquarters a listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. These deep historic roots set the stage for the Old Police Headquarters story, creating a sense of place that is unique in Southern California.
